A unique collection of military vehicles and equipment, medals and uniforms, and stories of Veterans who served in Vietnam and subsequent conflicts. The museum is named after Medal of Honor recipient USMC Cpl Larry E. Smedley. We honor the sacrifice of all Veterans who served in defense of our country, and those serving to protecting our freedom today.

The Cpl Larry E. Smedley National Vietnam War Museum was founded by the Vietnam and All Veterans of Central Florida Inc. in the 1980's, serving as a veterans club, Vietnam museum, and cultural center. The Museum was dedicated on May 29, 1993, and has served and educated the east Orlando community for over 30 years.

Many of our Curators are Veterans who served during periods of war and peace. The Smedley Museum is operated by volunteers from the Orlando Bunker under authority of the Vietnam and All Veterans of Central Florida.
